2) Love and Ego Boundries - A Psychological view of Dr.M.Scott Peck: Experts from 'The Road Less Travelled' by Dr.M.scott Peck
Love can be defined in to various categories:eros, philia, agape,
perfect love and imperfect love.
Definition for love: the will to extend one's self for the purpose of
nurturing own's one spirtual growth. All others are more or less
infactuations and not true.
Let us understand the life from this perspective.
When we are just out our mothers womb, we dont realise the difference
between our movement and other movement.
The child thinks that as it moves the world moves. no difference. It
is very happy
that everything is as per its like.
But as the child grows, it realises...to its shock...understands that
things are different..
nothing happens as per the child thinks. its assumption is broken.
Then as the child grows it develops Ego boudries are developed.
Parents are not ale understand this as they are in a higher ego sate
called parental ego state.
At the marrige age when this child meets someone who is in a similar
ego state,
there are attempts to break the ego boudries.
The breakage of Ego boundies results in Love.
But unfortunately this boundry breakage is very temprory. After
marrige again as circumstances develop,
differences between the partners grow. They go back to thier
boundries...And life is no longer happy..
These are the same pair of lovers who thought they are made for each
other..
but not any more...
What is really needed is the individual spriritual growth...one need
to understand oneself better,
to understand another...
3) Whats the realation between Ganesha,Muruga and Siva?: The following is quoates picked from Swami SubramuniyaSwami's Merging
with Siva:
The gods are the controllers of the force-centers within man. They
live in the innermost areas of form. To enter muladhara chakra, the
aspirant must go through Lord Ganesha. And when the aspirant
progesses through the manipura chakra, Ganesha will introduce him to
Lord Muruga. Once this is accomplished, the devotee will worhsip
Muruga as the Be-All and End-All, just as Ganesha was worshiped when
the consciousness was in His chakras. Lord Muruga is the controller
of the manipura chakra, the chakra of will power and two chakras
above it, direct cognition and universal love. Now we begin to see
that the aspirant has to proceed in to consciousness through the
three chakras that Lord Muruga controls and meet all the tests before
this God will introduce him to Lord Siva. Lord Siva’s chakras are
number 6, 7 and beyond. The aspirant must go through the chakras of
Lord Siva’s realm to become Sivaness – to experience His all
pervasiveness and on in to the essence of all essences, Parasiva. The
aspirant who dearly loves Siva should go beyond Siva’s personal
aspect to reach the impersonal side and this is why when he finally
emerges from Parasiva, he is truly a real bhaktar. |
