The easiest way of testing the WebMenu in a siteinfo.xml

Like many others, I recently started seeing many requests for siteinfo.xml in the website error log

These are due to the a9 tool bar

blog.a9.com: siteinfo points to the siteinfo specification pages which explains how to setup siteinfo.xml on a website and ends with “The easiest way of testing the WebMenu in a siteinfo.xml is to install the A9 Toolbar and view the loaded WebMenu that is under the Site Info button.”

Why should a webmaster install the toolbar ?

The easier way would be to provide a form to enter the website and perform the check and report status

This is a freedback for A9/Amazon
