His pioneer compendium is KRITIMANIMALAI Series. The series comprise detailed solfa notations for over 1500 Classical compositions on unprecedented lines along with annotations and running into over 3000 pages including all extant pieces of Tyagaraja, Muthuswami Deekshitar, Syama Sastri as also hundred Kshetragna padams, Tillanas and classic pieces of other noted post Tyagaraja period composers. There are two publications in English besides on the evolution and Theory of Carnatic music including a critical study of Saarangadeva: Sangeeta Ratnakaram.
