Co-chairman of the executive board, SAP
Henning Kagermann is a co-chairman and CEO of SAP AG. He has been co-chairman since 1998 and a member of the Executive Board since 1991. A physicist and mathematician, he joined SAP in 1982. His areas of responsibility include sales and distribution, consulting, and international customer relations.
2005 March 09 - Enemy at the Gates - Henning Kagermann, chief executive of SAP, talks to David Gow : ...Henning Kagermann still looks like a physics professor, with his gray, curly hair, pensive, deep-set eyes behind old-fashioned, rimless glasses. He is, instead, an unusual chief executive with a disarming, self-deprecating humor, and he likes heavy metal and slips into concerts whenever he can. When he joined SAP in 1982 it employed 90 people and had revenues of DM24 million. Now it employs 33,000, turned over €7.5 billion last year when it had 26,000 customers in more than 120 countries...
